It goes much further.

He campaigned feverishly on this very site for Kasich...

He became broken after Trump punked Kasich in the primaries.

They're the majority of people voting for Republicans.

MAGA/America First/Trumpkins are probably 1/4 of the GOP voting population. Enough to swing a fringe election here or there but not nearly enough to gain power. If they were, we've had enough elections since 2016 for them to take over. How many actual Congressmen or Senators do you have in place?

The shift is real. With every incumbent who retires or is primaried the shift gets stronger.

This started with Trump in 2016. The entire party is being remade and you haven’t figured it out yet.

Hispanics on their own are a huge new bloc of AmericaFirst Republican voters.

You can’t tell which way the wind is blowing. I’m going to remind you if this every chance I get that in late 2022 you still think GOPe is the path forward.

If Pence would fight for America First policies like no trade giveaways to China, finishing the wall and noninterventionist foreign policy he would garner huge MAGA support.

You are making a serious error if you believe MAGA support for Trump is all about personality. Personality can only get you so far. You have to have policies that MAGA likes in order to form a foundation.

Name any GOP politician not named Trump or Rand that promotes tough on China, build a wall and noninterventionist foreign policy? Maybe Gaetz? Maybe Masse and MTG? There are are not many of them.

If DeSantis wants to garner the MAGA Republicans start being tough on China. Start talking about finishing the wall. Come out against Ukraine funding.

Trump 2024 + DeSantis 2028 = 12 years presidency. I’ll take that any day.

Possibly, but that would be very un-Trump.

Despite SFPs TDS and wish casting, this is DeSantis’ best opportunity to be President.

Him running against Trump, in a competitive race no less is ABSOLUTELY his biggest risk.

I like DeSantis. But his current weakness is that he hasn’t discarded the GOPe yet. To be fair, he hasn’t had to make that move yet. But he’s either going to run as an AmericaFirst candidate or run against one.

You aren’t paying attention (or have TDS like SFP) if you can’t see where that would end up.

I’m not much on internet bets with strangers, but I’ll bet you my first born son he runs

Deal?

I’ll give my kid to BoarEd to hold in escrow.

So two options now exist:
1. Trump decides to not run and gives DeSantis his blessing
2. DeSantis set up for 2028 after his governor term ends in 2026

I assume Trump announces one way or the other after mid-terms.

I think he’s running. And while I think Boosie’s logic about being arms length from Trump makes sense, I wouldn’t ignore the possibility that he would run on the ticket and that Trump would step down after midterms (Giving DeSantis 2 more elections to be President and allowing him to run as an incumbent).

There are a few differences the next go round.

- Trump knows what to expect
- he will have more of his minions in place
- msm and social media have been exposed
- states like az will have two years to change voting laws (Kari and sos candidate Finchem both support paper ballots and one day voting)
- Latino voters aren’t going back and Blexit is real. Dem is now the “old, white elite party”, so rep may not needs Karens.
- Americans love Trump because he loves them and America
- as a female voter, in this day and age, there is something very appealing about an ALPHA male!

Did you know there is a region in Italy called Puglia? What we think of as the heel the Romans thought it looked like an arm and fist. Even gloves as you can see on this Italian statue of a boxer 330-50 B.C.

We are lucky to have these 2 pugilist!
