I think he handled it quite well.
If Trump had not been unfairly dumping crap on him for a week, he may have been more forceful in his defense of Trump.
But he certainly didn't use the opportunity to take his own digs at Trump
I think it was a great demonstration of statesmanship.

It'll be interesting to see if DeSantis continues the engagement or cuts it off.
If he does the latter, I dare say he may out-Trump Trump. Getting Trump to respond and kick and scream while DeSantis tunes him out and gets on with it will infuriate Trump .

It sucks, because Trump has a good shot at the nomination, and this stuff only hurts him in the general. He's learned exactly jack shite since 2015.

DeSantis should have took the opportunity to say there is no evidence that Trump had an affair with this porn star. Porn stars normally tape their sexual activities and there is no tape.
Just because Trump accused him of being a pedophile is no reason to take a shot at Trump. He should have coward in a corner to prove he isn't a cuck. DeSantis missed his chance for my vote in 2032, if Trump chooses not to run.
