You definitely see this pattern with Desantis.....press opportunity.....planted question and a scripted response designed to look like an off the cuff statement but it's obviously filled with scripted tag lines.

Last time I checked, only one of them has been lying non-stop about the other for the last 4 months. Ironically, it's the same person who was too much of a coward to keep his promise that we'd never hear from him or see him ever again after 2020.

Sounded pretty fair to me.
Pointing out the real problem being the weaponization of the justice system for political purposes. Acknowledging Trump stepped in shite but basically saying not my circus not my monkeys' on that.

I'm not going to completely excoriate him for the response, but saying this is simply about a "Soros DA" seems just a little bit too pat. The whole deal clearly goes much deeper than that.
