I am all in on DeSantis but this is almost certainly something he is doing intentionally to leverage politically. By the time hes out of politics he will likely have far more holdings, which is fine. Politicians are allowed to do well, theres just a point where its obviously abuse of power.

As a Navy Lieutenant his basic pay was around 6k per month and approx additional 2.5k in housing and food allowances. He did not serve long enough to earn a military pension though he could be entitled to certain VA benefits (I seriously doubt he filed for any).
Glad he is my Governor and would love to see him in the White House, although I wouldn’t mind another term of him running things in Florida.

Lol why? He could be worth multiples of this by now if he had followed a different path once he got out the Navy and say went into Big Law. He obviously focused more on a political career.

Well old GI bill didn't cover a full 4 years of college. I got out in 2000 and went back to school in 2002 and it only covered about 36 months. I had to take loans out for my final year. I suspect the same for him as well.
