It's not only private property affected by hurricanes. Don't be silly.
So you're saying, the state should have a surplus of the tax payers money and call it a "rainy day fund".
I don't like that Texas does it.
Give it back.

There are many things that the stage is wired to do in order to protect the state and citizen
The elected representative of path laws creating a state funded insurance so the other insurance companies when they stop writing policy with allow citizen to continue to have their property insurance or when companies go bankrupt
That phone also covers emergency services after hurricanes etc.

He just made an unfortunate political error and it cost him more than it should have, he would still make an excellent Supreme Court justice to replace pansy arse John Roberts

I'd love to see my governor sitting on the bench at SCOTUS. Solves several problems. Ron can affect national law and policy for a lifetime instead of one or two terms. Secondly, it eliminates a bloody in-fighting among the GOP during the '28 primary season.
It's always amazed me the anti-Ron hate on here among so-called Republicans or conservatives. Literally the only place I've seen it. Everyone I know in FL who loves Trump loves Ron, also. Ron is, by far, the best state level executive in the country. He should be a slam dunk for the nomination.

I believe you would get your arse kicked in Washington for doing something like that.

We could have had him as president right now instead of sleepy paw paw. Tcult is insufferable.

That didn’t happen until Desantis shunned them attacked Trump

Can you articulate how ronnie would have accomplished the same at the Federal level?

He would have done all the good shite orange has done, putting a stop on the illegals crowding the border, cut taxes, stopped a lot of the woke shite in the culture.
All of the good WITHOUT... the retarded tariffs, the retarded tweets, the falling asleep in the middle of TELEVISED meetings, the retarded war on iran just because muh greatest ally wants to expand their territory and he also wouldn't be promising 300 billion to one of the biggest state sponsors of terror over the last 40 years.

The voters don't pick the candidates, fund their campaigns, back specific legislation through lobby pressure, set the election laws or handle the corrupt machines by which they are carried out... voters are the least of the problem. Most of the voters honestly don't give a shite, anymore. They can see it's a giant lie. Look at the voters totals versus population. It tells a story.
You honestly believe if we had poll tests, we wouldn't have an entirely different set of politicians in America?

I know it's unpopular, but the politicians are just a symptom. The disease is the voters.
This is the correct answer.
We could change the trajectory of the country any time we collectively decided to.
