I wonder why anyone would care about Ft. Knox beyond naked curiosity. The gold there doesn't matter, we ditched the standard a long time ago.

Also, IIRC the NY Fed holds more gold than Ft. Knox. It serves as the repository for a bunch of foreign nations' reserves.
