So who becomes speaker, dude?
“Burn it to the ground” and then what? Most of you have no idea. You’re sky screamers.
I think, fortunately, most of us will carry on while believing in America.

Well yeah, they typically run circles around the GOP and gain power, which I don't want.
Sure you don’t.

If they are legit giving in this early, they have a long-term plan.
They just don’t have a fire to put out. Scalise will be the same as McCarthy. In the meantime, they will sit back and let the infighting continue.

…this dude is a democrat.
He supports everything that has gone on over the last 2 years.

Did anybody really believe it was gonna be any other way when he took over?

I’d guess their strategy is to seize the Speaker if the R’s splinter and cannot coalesce around a single nominee.

A huge majority of Pubs are tired of McCarthy and want him out. He’s another RINO. I was so hoping they kept voting no last time but he did promise things but never delivered.

So tired of always giving in. We control the purse string and still let Dims run over us.

Neither of those things make any sense.

What Leftist/Democrat policy have I promoted in the past 10 years?
Criminal justice reform?
Decreasing power of law enforcement and our police state?
Drug decriminalization and legalization?

Which America? The one from The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights? Or the utter abomination that we have at present, with our children's children carrying federal debt, open borders, more leeches than taxpayers, crumbling infrastructure, and the government finding new and interesting ways to squander taxpayer money by the hour?

Burn-It-Down heathens are less than stupid. Either Dems get incredible concessions from McCarthy and he keeps his job or he's ousted and you get a House Republican side that is so divided, a new Speaker would almost certainly require (once again) help from the Democrats in order to be voted in. That new Speaker will absolutely be to the left of McCarthy.

Burn-It-Down heathen here. Sounds like a good reason for McCarthy to have done exactly what he promised to get the gavel to begin with, doesn't it? Your anger or disdain is improperly placed.
