I feel like it should be up to the people. Neither the federal executive, the legislature, nor the governors, nor the various minicipalities are entitled to the dictatorship they have declared.
If person A wants to cower in fear and lock themselves away, person A is free to do so.
Person B should be free to live their life.
Governor/president/mayor C is free to proceed with constitutionally consistent governance, but not free to strip Persons A or B of their rights.
Are we a free nation or aren't we?
