I’d like for it to shut down for a year or two. Most of us wouldn’t even notice.

But DoD (or DoW if you prefer) and DHS are core governmental functions. They can't simply stop working during a shutdown.

I knew they would find an excuse to shut it down again. Not a surprise. Losing prospect considering the majority of Americans suppport enforcing immigration law. Legal hispanic American citizens overwhelmingly support it. Dems just continue to double down on losing issues for them, compelled by their unhinged TDS.
