It’s never a good sign when a report comes with a big red disclaimer at the top of each page, but that’s what happened on Thursday when the Democratic National Committee belatedly released its controversial autopsy report on the 2024 election.

“This document reflects the views of the author, not the DNC,” the disclaimer said. “The DNC was not provided with the underlying sourcing, interviews, or supporting data for many of the assertions contained herein and therefore cannot independently verify the claims presented.”

The report is far from comprehensive, and it avoids some of the most critical factors in the 2024 race.
AP

The freaking dems had to put a disclaimer on the top of their own autopsy report to keep democrats from going mental. Even though the autopsy report does not touch on the sensitive stuff that was a major contributing factor to their loss. That one fact alone means that they have learned nothing from 2024 and are incapable of learning anything.

quote:

The autopsy report reaches a different conclusion, saying not enough was done to convince voters that Trump was an unacceptable candidate.
Still the AP

What in the ever loving f**k are they talking about. You could not watch tv, get on youtube, or do anything on the internet withoput being assaulted with ads that told how bad Trump was. Basically the only thing they did not do was run an ad that called him the Anti-Christ. That would have done that but it would have offended the nonbelievers in their base.

I thought it was a very honest autopsy. Hopefully, they do not heed it because it will make things a little more difficult.

Something they need to be honest with themselves about: Have real solutions to problems.

But we know they have none in this day and age.

Hence the disclaimer.

They will nominate Harris again in 2028 and then wonder why Rubio or Vance destroyed her.

At this point, they think they were not progressive and woke enough and will probably try to send out AOC which will fare them worse.

No way Harris will be the candidate. Like 2020, I doubt she would win a single primary state. If Newsome runs, it would just cancel her out completely because California is probably the only state she would have a chance in.

They had talking heads on XiNN and MSDNC doing that every week.

Not ads, but they were putting the message out.

192 pages? I can give you one sentence for your report.

“Your candidate was an airhead and a fricking cackling dumb arse.”

There’s your report.

They put out the message but they did not specifically say that he was the anti-Christ.

I fully expected it to say:

1. We did not make Trans a big enough issue. In the future, we need to make our support of our Trans population the centerpoint of our efforts

I can reduce that message significantly.

Message to DNC should have been less than a paragraph:

"Cause of defeat: You"

That party can no longer walk and chew gum at the same time for fear of offending at least a part of its radical, grievance ridden, victimization-glorifying base.

It’s a damned shame they are mainly “opposed” by a feckless establishment GOP that specializes in passively-aggressively doing as little as they can so as not to have to actually seize the moment and lead.

In any normal functioning society the Democrats wouldn’t sniff power again for several generations.

Far and away their biggest mistake was shutting down opportunities for an open primary. An open process would likely have forced Potatobrain out of the race. Had Newsom, Shapiro, RFK Jr, etc been allowed to run, Dems would have been in a different place.

The report should have had a recommendation like this:
"We did not appropriate enough money paid to vote counters to create fraudulent ballots in key swing states."
