NEW: I’m told by federal sources that a Dominican illegal alien with a deportation order & an Interpol Red Notice arrest warrant for murder in his home county was ordered released from ICE custody on Tuesday by Rhode Island federal judge Melissa DuBose (Biden appointee). I’m told that international fugitive Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested by ICE Boston in Worcester, MA on April 4th, and had been detained in a facility in Rhode Island where he was issued a deportation order on April 28th by an immigration judge. On Tuesday, I’m told Judge DuBose ordered Gomez be released from ICE custody on the grounds of “continuous unlawful detention”, while ICE argued that Gomez was subject to mandatory detention due to having an international arrest warrant for homicide. I’m told Gomez was released, is now roaming freely again, and ICE can’t rearrest him due to Judge DuBose’s order. He was caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in 2022.
Another one Turtle confirmed with ease.

How can she rule over freaking Interpol. I'm also shocked because Progressives always like to rule with foreign entities over US ones.
Either way, it is clear this woman wants the citizenry terrorized.

Get in her arse regarding every penny she has received in the last 10 years.

Why cant DHS just tell the judge the federal govt, and she is a federal judge, has international agreements with interpol that they cant violate. Let the judge pursue his release through interpol, in the meantime he stays in jail til Dominican Republic can arrange to have him moved.
He is a Dom Rep citizen and they have requested his incarceration, what is a federal judge even ruling on this for?
Nevermind we all know, ICE bad, murderers good.

Without merit based principles, our country is over. These DEI hires are destroying our nation and anyone who can’t see that it’s on purpose is kidding themselves.

That judge doesn't have the authority to do that.

What do democrats have to gain by releasing criminals back on the street? You can't make it make sense.

Isn’t this malfeasance? I’m mean they can’t be totally unaccountable when they make decisions like this.

Nah. Just bus released criminals to her address and let them out right there.
They won’t change until it impacts them.

The legal profession is an absolute disgrace, the fact they never take anyone’s license for complete malpractice makes them a joke.

Legal professionals really struggle to see the forest for the trees because of the immense focus on precedent & procedure. You know, "could we release this individual because of unlawful detention" vs. "should we release someone wanted for murder by the world's largest international police organization".
Legal scholars will say the "could we" is all that matters. The rest of humanity cares about the "should we".

I've asked a poster on here this with no answer: Does it mean you should just because you can?

This is exactly what Nayib Bukele was talking about with these leftist judges getting in the way of progress. Think of everything Trumps tried to do judges have stopped. Ending TPS for the Haitians, ending birth right citizenship(I know that's on the SC now,it should be taken in context with the 13th amendment), using the Alien enemies act on Venezuelans, defending sanctuary cities, putting Natl Guard in Portland. It goes on and on. Trump has made great efforts to fulfill promises domestically. Bukele said you have to remove them, Then you have the issue from the Thunes of the world. Sometimes I wish Trump was the authoritarian they say he is

It takes a non bought and paid for traitorous Congress to hold these judges accountable. It’s why primaries are so important and are looking good this year as a step in the right direction
