Just what we need is spending taxpayer money to expand another branch of government to investigate our lives.

It'll be a piece of cake, given the appeal of high-paying govt jobs with cooked-in benefits and pensions. I wouldn't be surprised if their are 150 applicants for each new job that opens up.

Paraphrased: “As long as you do what the government tells you to do, and don’t rock the boat, we might not sic any of the weaponized alphabet agencies on you. Might not.”

It’s reported that 78 to 90 percent of the money raised from “under reported income” would likely come from those making less than $200,000 a year. Only 4 to 9 percent will come from those making more than $500,000.
The IRS knows the super-wealthy have lawyers and accountants who will make litigation time consuming and risky.
So middle class…. here they come. /smdh

And the government never fricks up anything?

Yea I was appalled at what I heard this morning on Fox News Sunday from Sen. Cardin. It's quite un-American, dating back to pre-Revolutionary times.
Now I may have voted Democratic and for Biden in 2020, but I never voted for this kind of bureaucratic surveillance and am quite taken aback by that provision in the law.

Noticed he was thinking about fear when talking about it. Behind the scenes that what these a-hole bullies hiding behind pelosi’s skirt think about us. That we are afraid of them. That’s why we are demonized and pushed in a corner. They think nothing is going to happen, no matter how far they go.
Maybe they are right, nobody in Washington D.C. stands up for what I believe and was taught to live by, I can tell you that much.

Yeah because tax law is so easy to understand and totally not ambiguous at all

frick you! You sure as hell voted for this type of tyranny. Don’t play stupid now because all of the sudden you realize it might affect you and not only your ideological counterparts.

That's exactly what you voted for. You vote for commies, you get communism.

There isn't a single person on this planet that fully understands the tax code. People unintentionally make mistakes that cost them down the road pretty frequently. If they're hiring this many agents it is with the intent of fully recouping that cost and then some. It will just be a large transfer of wealth from the private sector to the federal government.

If he’s really seeing the light regarding leftist totalitarianism he should be given the chance to turn it around. Not likely given some of the prog filth he’s posted but we’ll see.
I’m all for doxing and making pariahs of the feds who try to live among us.

But saying, “just follow the law and don’t resist the cop and you won’t get shot” is racist.

But you did. You and other dems and RINOs probably chalked it up to PT hyperbole, but this outcome was one of many accurately predicted by this board ahead of the 2020 election.

I'm still waiting since March 2021 for my 2020 taxes refund.
