This story raises another important issue: Dems and the media tell us illegals aren’t voting in federal elections, yet we have a sitting Democrat Senator openly calling Kilmar Garcia one of his “constituents”—thus implying someone who can vote for him.

Is Senator Van Hollen now openly admitting that illegals are voting in federal elections in the State of Maryland???

How is this not a violation of the Logan Act? Or do sitting Reps not fall under it?

of course it is but UNIPARTY pundits immediately remind us that only that only two people have been charged with it. as if that means anything.

I don't think you have to be a voter to be a constituent. You've just got to be represented by said politician. And don't forget, illegals are counted in apportionment so in that sense, they definitely are "constituents," as fricked up as the system is.

I wish congress had the balls to address some of this shite. Everything from border security to immigration (legal and illegal) to how one registers for federal elections and then votes - - - it has all been bastardized to the point it makes zero sense and dramatically favors the Left.

So this Idiot goes to El Salvador to free a El Salvadoran citizen from an El Salvadoran prison.

What am I missing?

Google disagrees.

I get what you're saying though... but there is a stark difference in being represented (ala Maryland Man), vs voting for said representation. Strictly, politically, speaking, a constituent...

That the dumbass wants his voters to think he actually has sway there? It's beyond absurd!

I stand corrected. In any case, he shouldn't be counted for apportionment. Dems probably hold 5 more seats in the House because of this.

I absolutely agree with you! I'm in favor of only citizens and *maybe* legal permanent residents being counted for representation purposes.

If I recall, Trump tried to have the 2020 census take a more specified headcount of citizens and it didn't go well. Unfortunately.

I dont know. I think Democrats for the most part are dumb. They are under the guise that they can walk around anywhere in the world and do whatever they want. Outside the US, that shite line of thinking doesnt fly.

I did. Not for him, obviously. I can't recall a single television advertisement, or remember seeing a single sign for him. Given that he won by like 30 points, I guess he didn't need to actually campaign.

Apparently he didn’t need to campaign with the illegal alien and inner city Baltimore vote.

He could be, but I highly doubt it. I am glad that El Salvador is refusing the meeting.
