Can you imagine these communities without any police presence? 
It's bad enough as is. They'd be begging for some police brutality within a few months if they got what they demand.

I looked Barnes up on Wikipedia. I don't much care about formal education in a candidate, but I do care about lying. It shows the low level of scrutiny from the press that he was able to win several elections (including to Wisconsin Senate and Lt. Governor), before admitting that he had been lying about being a college graduate.
"In August 2019, Barnes admitted that he had never officially completed his bachelor's degree in 2008 due to incomplete coursework in one class that he called a "minor technical issue", contrary to previous statements that he had graduated from Alabama A&M.[11][12][13] He received his B.A. degree in communications media specializing in performance on May 1, 2020, after resolving the outstanding coursework issue with the university.[14]"
