Not enough evidence to show a bribe. You have to make assumptions to get there. If the transcript shows evidence of a bribe to you then pretty much any conversation between world leaders offering or requesting services from each other with no conditions stated would be a “bribe.”

Just stop with this nonsense.

Defining What A Bribe Is

The clearest example of a 'bribe" - also including extortion - is Joe Biden VPOTUS demanding a specified action (Fire that prosecutor) or else we will stop the financial aid the Congress authorized from being given to you ---- You got SIX HOURs -

and - "HOLY shite!! - they fired the prosecutor!!".

any questions???

yeah - this is pretty much the way our foreign policy works (and should work) - we should NOT be handing out tax-payer $$$$ without some demand for a favorable response.

Now = ib thus case, the favorable resorbs could be following thru with the pledge from the new giverbnebt ib Ukraine to stop the corruption that ran amok in the prior goverbnebt (including the Obama admin.)

THAT is what SHOULD be done.

but = according to DEMs ==== :buh buh buh the corrupt VPOTUS is running for the DEM nomination - You would have to PROHIBT his crimes from being investigated - or else he might not get elected.

such a bullshite hoax = worse than the "COLLUSION" hoax

My company bribes me every 2 weeks.....

My company says I have to show up and produce, otherwise they won’t give me money.

Which you have absolutely zero admissible evidence for and a Mountain of evidence that says the opposite.

Read the Transcript
Ask the President of Ukraine
Ask Senior Ukrainian Foreign Minister
Ask the Secretary of State who was on the call
Read the text messages at the time

I know facts tend to get in the way of fantasy but the facts are hes STILL YO PRESIDENT

I imagine that before this day is over, Nancy and Adam will have a few swing state representatives in the back room with offers to fill their campaign coffers with cash and maybe a committee chair spot, if they cooperate on this impeachment scam...

So if Biden said "Hey if you stop investigating my son’s employerI'll give you this military aide, otherwise I wont do it", does that fit the definition? Pretty sure it does. Assuming he actually did that. Which he admitted he did. .

A bribe is where someone who has a position of power and duty to others abuses that power and trust by accepting something of value for his personal gain to benefit the payer’s interest to the detriment of the others to whom the duty is owed.

The bribery to which the constitution speaks is not to prevent conditional payments to foreign countries, but to prevent foreign countries from paying our leaders to serve their interests to the detriment of America’s interests

And out of the other side of their mouths they complain about "bribery" - DEMs (and GOPer) ALL sharpest their teeth on bribery - either asking or promising political favors for their 'votes' which "represent their constituency"

Would love for someone to ask these witnesses = "Have you ever witnessed an offer of campaign assistance, or a material benefit, in exchange for a specific vote on a political topic?? Example Obamacare?? specifically the "louisiana purchase' or the 'nebraska buyout'??"

I don't pay attention to the democrat talking point nonsense.

So that's the point of this thread - that they moved their goalposts to try to fit their bullshite into the definitions of impeachment worthy events?

Right. Dems want Trump removed from the WH for making a few dems “uneasy” about something they heard indirectly that sounded like a possible Ukraine bribe.

They want to replace him with someone who straight up bribed Ukraine on camera.

You can’t make this up.

Except that never happened. What did happen was that Joe Biden said fire this prosecutor investigating my son and kill the investigation or i’ll Withhold this billions on aide. So yes that is bribery
