Defining What A Bribe Is

Bribe - persuade (someone) to act in one's favor, typically illegally or dishonestly, by a gift of money or other inducement.
So if Trump said "Hey if you investigate Biden I'll give you this military aide, otherwise I wont do it", does that fit the definition? Pretty sure it does. Assuming he actually did that. Which seems likely.

According to Ukraine, no Biden investigation was asked for, and they didn’t know aid was even being held a month after the call, so factually there was no bribe....

Asking a country to investigate credible reports of corruption isn't bribery and it isn't illegal.
