death rates up 40 percent over pre-pandemic levels

As the pandemic enters its second year running, the number of deaths the virus has caused is likely much greater than official numbers indicate, setting a historic record.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) explains that excess deaths are associated with COVID-19 directly or indirectly, typically defined as the difference between the observed number of deaths in specific time periods and the expected number of deaths in the same time periods.
Currently, since Feb. 1, 2020, the CDC estimates there have been 942,431 excess deaths in the U.S.
That's a staggering amount, as J Scott Davidson, CEO of insurance company OneAmerica, explained during a healthcare conference organized by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce this week. Davidson said that his company is seeing the highest death rates now than he’s ever seen before since he started in the insurance business.
Even more alarming is where those death rates are hitting, with Davidson saying it’s primarily among working aged people, between the ages of 18 and 64.
Notably, Davidson said that even if COVID-19 is not listed on a person’s death certificate, that doesn’t mean the virus didn’t play a role. For example, Davidson said a person can contract COVID-19 and recover, but the virus could have triggered a separate illness that eventually leads to death.
“It may not all be Covid on their death certificates, but deaths are up in just huge, huge numbers,” Davidson said.
Excess deaths haven’t been evenly distributed among the U.S. population either, with The National Cancer Institute finding that roughly 2.9 million people died in the U.S. between March 1 and Dec. 21, 2020, 74 percent of them due to COVID-19 with 477,200 identified excess deaths. LINK

frick them. Stopping old people’s will to live because they couldn’t see their loved ones isn’t a Covid death. It’s a CDC/Fed Gov death.

So slow Joe didn't save the day after all. Who could have seen that coming or that he is held to a different standard by the media than Trump?

It's is 100%, without a doubt, MUCH lower.
ETA: They just don't want to admit the reality of the situation: overreaction to COVID has resulted in a lower standard of care surrounding literally everything else.

As with everything CDC related, there are a lot of questions about how "excess deaths" are calculated. If you look at their expected trend line, hard to understand what you see. For example, in a country that's getting older, is growing (especially with the open border), and one year into a pandemic that's supposedly killing everybody, why are there periods of time in 2021 that a drop in deaths is forecast? And then when you consider these assholes are the same ones scoring a murder/suicide as two "Covid deaths" because the dead couple had asymptotic Covid and positive tests 3 weeks before the wife was caught banging the neighbor, your natural skepticism ratchets up even more - unless you're a pussy on the Left, of course.

The highest increase is between 30-39 year olds.
It aint covid, its suicide and fentanyl.

Here are my 2 questions, and the answers shouldn't require a lengthy analytical qualifier, just numbers will be fine:
1. What was the total number of deaths from all causes combined the US each year from 2010-2019?
2. What is the total number of deaths in the US from All Causes Combined in 2020 and 2021?
"All causes combined" is in bold for a reason, and if you don't understand the reason, you're part of the problem.

He said he would shite the virus down.

The number climbed pretty good from 2010-2019.
So for 2019, it was a total of 2.854M deaths. That number was increasing somewhere around 30k-60k per year.
2016 - 2.74M
2020 - 3.38M
So there was a huge huge jump from 2019 to 2020. I would guess it’s close to 66% Covid and 33% shitty handling of Covid.

It seems to me that the following are all plausible or confirmed:
1. Covid is very dangerous to the elderly and morbidly obese
2. The covid vaccine causes serious heart issues in active folks under 40
3. Isolation greatly increases rates of suicide and drug overdoses
4. the heart issues caused by the covid vaccine make drug users especially susceptible to heart attack
5. The treatment protocols for Covid using Remdesivir and ventilators causes kidney failure which may be increasing fatalities.
6. There are multiple treatments available for Covid which are being actively suppressed by the government and the media in order to rationalize emergency authorization for the Covid vaccine, which greatly reduced the burden for testing
7. Forcing covid positive patients to be admitted into nursing homes, particularly in New York, New Jersey, and Michigan, resulted in at least tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths.

As well as diabetes and Alzheimer’s deaths.
