Nay.I believe in harsher sentencing and more humane prisons, in which prisoners live in regimented discipline and are treated with respect. But the taking of life should be reserved for God.

We are overrun with cockroaches of society. Killing a few 100k of them would be an upgrade.
Crimes that should be punishable by death:
Murder
Rape
Assault with a deadly weapon
Armed robbery
Just to name a few.
I don’t even care if it’s a deterrent any more. Just kill them and you are guaranteed that they will not repeat.
Sterilization at birth should be a thing as well. You can’t procreate until you pass a test proving you are worthy.
