We should NOT be importing anything from the CCP. Medicines, computer parts, auto parts, aircraft parts...
We can 'near shore' that stuff given time.
I don't trust them.
They very instrumental in flooding the US with fentanyl, meth and who knows what other crap they send into Mexico, Canada...to poison our populace.
They have used the illegal practice of 'dumping' cheap steel on the world markets, along with other vital products.
Don't give them an inch.

That was the consensus on this board a few weeks ago.
Now they are wanting a trade alliance with the Chinese.
America looks weak.

Tomorrow should be a good day for stocks
When looking at the current Nasdaq Futures chart, we are now at a heavy technical resistance level.
We can definitely break through this area of resistance if we have strong enough buying pressure and minimal selling overnight and the next few trading days.
The Trump Train needs some new all time highs soon!

Any other politician would have had their hand out waiting to be bought off by china.

Hope that we are removing barriers on both sides. I’ve watched some videos on Chinese EVs and I am intrigued by what they’re doing over there.

The Nasdaq Futures looking good so far when it opened at 5 pm CT gapping up over 1.6%.
We need good follow through the next few days and a break above to new all time highs again.

The Dow futures are up 500 pts… NASDAQ futures are up more than 300 pts. It should be great day in The financial Markets tomorrow.

No matter the result, 80% of the board will claim Trump "won," probably 10% will claimed he "caved," and 10% won't know WTF happened.
All of this would be simplistic. It's perfectly possible to have a deal where neither side is perfectly happy and neither side is perfectly unhappy. It ain't a football game. In the end if there's a deal that's slightly moves the needle in the correct direction for the United States that's a good thing even if it doesn't move it as far as we would like it.

Can't wait for the details on this trade deal, and the administration being quite is a bad sign. And if Trump is proclaiming how great a deal this is tomorrow without giving specifics, just prepare for a shitty deal.

Too bad you cashed out of the cabin fund when you did…

I'd love to know who the 6 downvoters are. They obviously care more about hating Trump than loving what is best for America.

Last time Trump did a trade deal with China (that was more beneficial for us) they released Covid to the world.
