Feels like he's making everything up - basically bluff on Kharg Island and then claim a deal is "near finalized" to try and split the Iranians internally to keep them second guessing with each other but who even knows at this point.
That's why you'll see posts in this forum praising Trump when he threatens to attack, saying "it's long overdue" and then then you'll see the same people praising his new decision not to attack a few hours later. Then you rinse and repeat the cycle every couple of days.

What I don't understand is why you feel the need to defend someone when they're not making good moves. That was the whole intent of the person you were responding to. Even if you voted for someone it's ok to acknowledge when they do stupid shite.

I do more often than not vote for Repub candidates because the left is just so awful. But, I'm no huge fan of the Repubs. That is why I have always like President Trump, because he is not like the Romney/McCain/Lindsey/Turtle Repub party that everyone loves.
