He even told us that he had a concept of a plan.

Extend it for 1 year to get past mid-terms but with a cap of 150k. If they can’t come up with a replacement by then, frick it, let it expire and blow up.

And of course, any extension will be tied and timed to a round of elections.

It goes to show how politically savage Dems are. They use a crisis like Covid to add “temporary” subsidies to a highly unpopular Obamacare to make it more affordable and it’s unpopular politically during such crisis to oppose any relief to Americans. They know once it’s there it will be politically unpopular to ever let them expire and it continues to prop up a failure of a healthcare law the democrats created.

You have to give it to them, evil and disgusting as they are, they run circles around the feckless GOP. GOP Congress is like the British army in the revolutionary war, they have all the advantages but continue to lose because they insist on fighting a gentlemen’s war while being picked off by guerilla warfare.
