We could've predicted this continued petulance when Crazy Auntie Peach Mint encouraged this sort of assault, years ago.

It looks overpriced. TBH: If I were team Trump. I would be afraid of them spitting in food. I would also be careful of rando fast food in DC.

Think about it this way. If someone tainted food in any way---- the DC police would give them a reward.

Sounds like market opportunity for other restaurants and bars, but DC is infested with lefties.

It’s a 90-10 Dem leaning market to begin with and even the DC GOP people hate Trump because he’s messing with their power.

It’s going to get bad when Trump starts firing people in these agencies en masse.

Forcing his people to work and live there while they tear down establishment DC is like forcing your artillery spotters to stand where they’re calling in the fire mission.

I just assume everything is a psy-op. This is the media arm of the CIA encouraging resistance among the greater population. The sooner we scour these organizations of communist scum, the better.

This is why they need to move the power out of the swamp DC. Spread these institutions across the country. DC people are entitled fricks.

These are the same people that refer to Trump voters as rubes, low brow, ignorant, uneducated and so forth.

You're a damned food service employee. STFU and bring me some more tea.

People in DC are brainwashed.

yes, in the article, one stupid girl was saying she wasn't serving them because they are sex traffickers and are deporting millions of innocent people.

Talk about stupid. You can't fix it.
Wow, I hadn't seen this...

quote:

Suzannah Van Rooy, a server and manager at Beuchert’s Saloon on Capitol Hill, also vowed to refuse service to Trump officials whom she felt held moral views that opposed her own.

" I personally would refuse to serve any person in office who I know of as being a sex trafficker or trying to deport millions of people,” she said.

“It’s not, ‘Oh, we hate Republicans.’ It’s that this person has moral convictions that are strongly opposed to mine, and I don’t feel comfortable serving them,” Van Rooy added.

One anonymous host at a fine dining restaurant said she planned to look up every Trump administration figure online so she could know who they were and give them a bad table if they came in.

One worker said that they would quit on the spot if an employer forced her to serve Trump officials.

“I’ll only give them a bad table but will otherwise guarantee decent and polite service,” she went on. “I feel like them getting a bad table is nothing compared to the harm they’ll be inflicting.”

Not every liberal worker in the report planned to protest the incoming administration while doing their job, however.

A bartender named Joseph said while he was disappointed by the election results, he was looking forward to higher tips with more Republicans in Washington.

" I think my tip average from Republicans—at least ones that I or a coworker has recognized—is close to 30 percent. With Dems, I’m surprised if it’s over 20,” he said, adding that Republicans tend to be lower maintenance patrons as well.

These comments beckon memories of Trump’s first time in office, when Republican Party figures were harassed while dining at D.C.-area restaurants.

RFK is fricking jacked,

I would love to see RFK beat the shite out of waiter who throws a drink in his face, lol. I'm telling you that would make my year. However, I'm 62. (I'm guessing you are younger.) I am in fantastic condition. I work out every day - cardio, weights and yoga. I'm better built than I was 20 years ago, yet I would have no chance against that version of me.

At 62, my reflexes are slow, and I have arthritis in places. RFK is considerably older than me. I promise you he is not up to rolling around on a restaurant floor. I do wish it wasn't so.

almost every restaurant tour I know is a solid conservative. You are probably closer to correct when you get down to the lower management and the actual servers and cooks.

This may also explain a lot of RINOs turning face when they enter DC and fear getting harassed and not invited to cocktail parties.

Yep the RINO wives telling their husbands you have to vote for the omnibus bill or we won’t get a good table at le Diplomate

The Wash DC foodworkers are living off of our tax dollars because the DC elite are paid in taxes and their expense accounts are funded by our tax dollars.

I mean to a degree but do you know people from DC proper? They legit capital H hate Trump and his base. Trump staffers were catching hell the first term and its going to be worse now.

It would be like Kamala having to run her government out of Florida or Oklahoma.

I feel this. I have given a lot of thought to the tale of the tape for my own showdown. Comes down to the fact that 20 years ago i could definitely take a punch to the face. Now i cant even remember the last time i have been punched at all (wife doesnt count).

Any restaurant that allows mistreatment of customers based on their political views should face a boycott
