Don’t get me wrong. I’m a huge fan of Dave Chappelle. And I’m in no way a fan of anyone sporting blackface or anything resembling it. But where exactly was the outrage when Dave Chappelle did the racial draft skit as a white news reporter? I remember the audience cracking up laughing when they first showed him like this.
Once again, we are in the age of Cafeteria Social Justice. We only choose when we get offended based on our personal beliefs. It’s pure hypocrisy.

No problems with him wearing it. Historical context about black face is important. His show had a lot of light hearted racial humor and was absolutely hilarious. If you're going to go after him you're a moron.

He also threw the qualifier of "wearing" in there. So I guess he'd only be against someone wearing blackface. If its in a book I guess he's fine with it.
