No one takes absolutism like this seriously. Life is more complicated than this. You might figure it out one day.

Nobody was pissed about it because it was hilarious.

I think the only time I ever saw it was when it first aired, and I still remember the Wu Tang Clan pick like it was yesterday.

I have both of his seasons on DVD.

I’m just trying to get some context on where the line is drawn. That’s all.

The difference is white people weren't completely dehumanized like blacks (the entire reason black face is offensive)

So you can put on blackface so long as its not dehumanizing.

bullshite, just admit you're pushing a double standard.

How about the Chinese that built the railroad? You ever hear Asian Americans throwing a pissy fit when someone holds their eyes back and says ching Chong? No. Of course you dont. Because Asians preach victory not victimhood to their kids.

Asians take the criticism/racism while working their asses off before laughing all the way to the bank.

Blackface was used to dehumanize black people. That's the line. Make sense?

Yes, that means you can do blackface so long as its not dehumanizing. But we all know that's now the line you'll hold.

Nothing is always ok. Context, get some.

No, it means you can't do blackface because it was used to dehumanize. Are you purposefully not reading what I'm typing?

The law is not. Neither are morals. Something is either wrong or it isn't. You don't get to qualify the rightness or wrongness based on perceived social justice. frick off with your moral relativistic nonsesnse.

I agree.
If, in the course of natural conversation, the word "whip" comes up, the blacks get all twitchy.
They're brainwqahed.

So when would you be against a woman getting a first trimester abortion, because as it stands today they'll always get a greenlight to do so.

Seems silly to stop people from performing an action, that on its own is perfectly acceptable, because of how it was done in the past. If I'm not doing it in a dehumanizing way why does it matter what someone else did generations ago?

Emotional much?

So its absolutely the case that she should get one (first trimester abortion) whenever she wants one.

You're such a hypocrite.

Historical context about black face is important.

Almost nobody nowadays is aware of the history of blackface. They scream about how racist it is bc they’ve been told it’s racist.

If context really mattered, as you say it does, then blackface would only be a problem when the wearer was actually intending offense. But that’s not how it is. An old photo of a coal miner will make liberals lose their minds.
