I don’t get the impression that is mocking Jesus. Just not my style and I am fine with that.

It’s certainly strange, but I can’t figure out the “mocking” aspect of it either.

And what’s the context of the second pic? It seems dumb.

Well, as soon as someone is edgy enough to make a jacket like that about the child rapist known as Muhammad let us know.

Let me ask you a question THO95526.

Let's say that your father is a survivor of 3rd degree burns and can barely breathe because his lungs were severely damaged from inhaling hot air and risked his life during his rescue effort to save yours and your siblings lives in a house fire. Would you NOT be offended if I rolled up to your house pretending to gasp for air in mockery of your father and with facial makeup jesting at his permanently disfigured face?

Of course you wouldn't understand because its indicative that you don't know Jesus and also don't realize what Jesus means to me personally and to others who do know Jesus.

So then, do you have any basis on which to make that statement?

i take it as demonstrating the ACTUAL crucifixion. as in, what Jesus would've really looked like after his sacrifice.

its not my style, but i get the concept of sharing that image to non believers

Those are two entirely different issues this is relating to a jacket that could be interpreted as disrespectful to Jesus and people are pretending to get overly offended by it and people like you and Adrian Peterson lecturing people on morals need to look in the mirror. I believe in God, I pray, and I read my bible. But I'm not going to let something that could portray God in maybe a negative light offend me because there's more important things to be mad about than a fricking jacket like the example you provided I would expect anyone to be offend by that like if someone mocked a relative of mine I'd probably kick their arse but when it comes to the topic of Jesus or religion I'm not going to get triggered if someone mocks him or criticizes him because I'm mentally stronger than that and I praise God everyday for being alive God will sort those people out in the end not you or me.

I'm not questioning Damar's faith. It's plausible that he adorned that jacket without fully understanding its ambiguity/implications.

As someone else pointed out, I'm pointing out the media's hypocrisy and yet another right-in-your-face example of the media's double standards with regard to Jesus vs. other "religions".

Why Jesus and not Muhammad? (expect some retorts from edgy darklords and something something about Christians and their hypocrisy and miscellaneous whataboutisms...)

You realize that people are talking about the hypocrisy of blanking out the "100% Jesus" headband while allowing the jacket picture? You understand it's not just about the picture on the jacket?

Do you even know what the "implications" are?

It's simply some weird artistic design of Jesus, it's not making fun of him. The second pic is fricked up though and I'm not religious. They've turned the name Jesus into a curse word, how deranged is that shite

Well there is basically two options, both are plausible 1) strong blunt blow to the chest especially to your left side of the chest, is well known fact to fighters and base ball players’ 2) vaccine in the form of Myocarditis ,plus they are now claiming Myocarditis is caused by long Covid sickness, but the problem with Damars case , no indication he had covid or long or extended covid sickness

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if people in the mainstream knew this was a jacket that represented Jesus in any way I wouldn't be surprised if Damar Hamlin even knew that. This jacket looks like it's from a modern day rap group or something that'd be my first guest and shame on the people who do censor people wearing headbands that say "Praise God" or whatever else that's bullshite but on the issue of allowing the jacket vs allowing a Jesus saves headband or whatever else like I said I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of people even knew that the jacket was supposed to represent Jesus's crucifixion in some way.

The artist is Japanese and into anime. I think Jesus dodged a bullet on this one. It could have been a lot worse.

Looks like Neymar after Barcelona last won the Champions League 8 years ago.

Also, based on the graphic on the pic, it looks like maybe FIFA edited that particular one, but it could be a photoshop. You can see him wearing '100% Jesus' in virtually every other pic on the internet.

The implications are that anything that depicts Jesus (and His act of crucifixion) in a light none other than in one of reverence is considered blasphemous. Here we are splitting hairs on what the "implications" are in the context of something that "can be" considered ambiguous.

Now do the same thing for Muhammad - depict his "holy" physique on some platform for media attention. Nevermind the prospect of it being ambiguous. One just can't. Oh goodness sake, we can't even tread near the suggestion of doing something like that! What blasphemy you infidels!
