Nationally, hospitalizations are down from 57k on July 26th to 39k on Aug 22nd. 39% drop in 28 days

Positivity under 5% in Florida.

As for the other guy—if he wants to start a “COVID is just a hoax” thread, he should put it on the main board. If he has specific errors in data, or actionable information. that could go here. This has been, and should continue, to be an informational thread. “CoViD iS A hOaX” isn’t informational, IMHO.

I like your humble opinion

Part of my job is designing & managing the forecasting process for our company which has 4 divisions, so I do this kind of work every day. I'm good enough at it, that they've kept me around for 17 years doing it. I am not doing this COVID Tracker for our company; however, I do use some of what I learn doing this at work.

I've always been really good at understanding numerical relationships and analysis. I was a professional programmer for a long time and the analysis of a business problem into component parts and synthesis of a solution is my god-given talent.

CD - the fact you've earned Taxing Authority's respect on statistics/numbers speaks volumes. TA is one of our best posters on these types of issues.

Florida’s Monday to Monday numbers plummeted. Last Monday, over 3700 new cases; today 2258.

Edit: Last Monday was 3894.

So we did peak in number of Deaths/Day last week.

I would be interested in seeing a chart of new stories/day to compare to the new cases chart.

What do you mean by Stories?

Not sure what graph you are asking for, I will make it if I don't already have it.
