Do we know how long it's taking for tests in NOLA to be processed and receive results. I've heard some places are taking as long as 5 days
If that's the case, we won't have "recoveries" for another 2 weeks if we need 2 negative tests

My friend got his positive test back from the state lab in 24 hours. Not Louisiana.

Precisely what I have been suggesting when I posted:

I think this is a really important point, and one i've been giving more thought to since Tex asked about it yesterday.
I plan to start reporting morality from a 14-day delay perspective as soon as I have enough data to do so.

It is interesting looking at the mortality rate in China vs Italy.
To date, China's mortality rate is 4.01% while Italy's is 8.3%. Italy has more deaths on half the number of cases as China does.
It seems strange that China would have a lower rate than Italy. I think this further points to China's lying about their real numbers.

Max, that just shows how fast the numbers are going up. They went up that quickly from when I pulled my numbers around 4:15cst.

Updated numbers as of 4:30PM. 15 mintues after my last data pull.
Its amazing how fast the numbers go up. Today will end up being bigger than yesterday. It already is in terms of raw number of cases. I'm refering to the growth rate when I say it will be bigger than yesterday.
Another observation, we're getting closer to a 2 day doubling of # of cases. It had declined prior to 3/17.

Michigans numbers today spiked.
Yesterday they had 119 cases, and as of today there are 337 total.

Cases are going to continue to spike this week and next all while the mortality rate (here in the US) is dropping consistently as well. It will be under 1% by next week.
