An honest definition, if you will.

I never understood it. People should be flattered if someone wants to borrow from your culture.

If these SJWs had their way with cultural appropriation, we'd still be living in fricking caves. I mean, seriously, if these guys were around 12,000 years ago, they would be outraged if another culture adopted agriculture.

Your answer

Agree or disagree, the term itself has a definition.

Ive never been a fan of cultural appropriation claims myself. All cultures do it to some degree.

"Cultural Appropriation" only exists in the minds of racists and bigots.

It means the person using it is intellectually bankrupt.

I can't define it as the morons who use it do, but I kinda always thought that the concept of imitation being the sincerest form of flattery was a good idea.

In fact, the same people who use this stupid term go ON AND ON AND ON about the virtues of diversity because we can learn from each other.

Well. What the frick do these idiots think the natural consequence of learning from other groups tends to be?

Restaurants up north serve their regular dishes with just a little bit of cayenne pepper added and label it 'CAJUN'.

Even people that fully buy into CA don’t think eating pho is CA. That’s just ignorant.

i think my favorite cultural appropriation story involved some indian chick claiming bone broth represented CA, as if indians hold the cultural claim to this very common food item
