Why should I care about Cuba’s economy, system of government, or the treatment of its citizens? And why should any American tax dollars go towards changing any of the above?

Cuba is about to fall any week now.
Word is that little pocket uprisings are already happening there and that all of Castro's family, living high on the hog, are packed up and preparing to flee to Russia.
It's just a matter of time now.

Why? Because my Sister in law has tons of family still stuck there and they are all starving to death.. Times that by LEGAL hundreds of thousands of Cuban-Americans. That's why.
Perfectly ok though for Democrats to steal trillions of dollars from Americans but God forbid we try to save innocent lives and spend money doing so

We can only disengage globally if we can be the full hegemon in the western hemisphere.
Letting Russia and China have a foothold 90 miles off Miami negates our ability to achieve that.
Venezuela is off the board.
Cuba will fall shortly.
Brazil should be next.

I think this is a very good question. If we had our country in a better situation It might influence my answer, but America has it's hands full with suicidal empathy and we need to correct this somehow.
Big money from all over the world is trying to destabilize our easily influenced people without a 9th grade social studies education. And I'm talking about college grads.

Communist Cuba should have been imploded 65 years ago. The US should never allow a communist country in the Northern/Western Hemisphere much less than 100 miles from the US.......PERIOD!!!!!!!!

I'm amazed at how many so called US loving conservative Americans are ok with a failed communist nation existing less than 100 miles from the US. The US should have never allowed Castro to screw the Cuban people over.
You can fill you Walmart shopping cart with communist CCP crap but you can't legally buy a decent hand rolled Cuban cigar in the US.
