I think I got this one. Remember, people think the other side acts as they do. So, imagine a scenario where a GOP president start loading the DHS with his political pawns and there is a democratic president. More likely they are going to scapegoat the former director while hiding key evidence to avoid the obvious conclusion which is that the IC and the establishment put a hit out on Trump, it didn’t work and now they’re terrified he’s about to get re-elected and come after all of them.
