By who?

Certain symptoms will count as a CLI or COVID Like Illness. That is used as a type of early warning metric. It is not the same as a positive case.

There are also “probable” cases based on symptoms and close contact with others that have tested positive. Maybe some states lump those in with actual positive tests, but Louisiana and Texas don’t.

Here's the deal. 45 million people (~15% of the population) have been infected.

So who gives a shite that 3 million have "tested" positive. They are the tip of the iceberg.

That said, if you compare the 130K dead to only 3 million "cases" it looks deadly.

Compare it to 45 million and it looks like a calculated risk.

Wear a mask, wash your hands, don't touch your face and you are unlikely to even get it, let alone get it severely. And if you are under 55, you have near zero risk

The sheriff of LaSalle said they don’t.

LDH did at one time count duplicates, but they are now purging them from their total numbers

My son was just a Covid “case”. He had a coworker test positive (ended up false positive) so his employer sent him home until he tested and the test was negative. Since he was “exposed” he went into the “active case” column.

The numbers are way inflated.

I’ve been tested twice and received negative results twice.

This “wives tale” that they are fabricating fake positive results after people have ‘waited for hours and then left’, is retarded. Everyone is saying that now. Lol

Since you were tested twice and received negative results, you consider the completely different scenario in the OP to be false? That's rather poor logic.

I wish we still had investigative reporting in this country.

It is questionable practices like over counting people with covid that a real free press was intended to monitor, keeping stuff like this from going on. Instead we have a dim party propaganda organization (msm) that gives cover to the dim party and progressive causes, and keeps people in the dark.

When the positive case numbers eclipses the population of the US, then we will know

I ask again for the umpteenth time, why has this not been exposed by the media, politicians or even the president's task force itself? These stories are becoming too commonplace not to get some air time.

Yeah, I'm hearing this both online and in real life over and over again now. It doesn't make sense.

The democrats plan to prolong this til November was coming to an end quickly so they had to figure a way to keep the panic and they are doing this with the manipulation of cases....its not about deaths, ventilators, or anything like that anymore strictly cases....they have to make this go into the election or they know TRUMP will start the economy back and it will boom within 2 weeks and they cant have that

Here's the real deal. We have no fricking clue as to how many people have been infected. The system has been set up to intentionally inflate the numbers and to NOT collect scientific (or even meaningful) data. There is a financial incentive in a CoVid death vs. any other cause, and a positive test is not needed to make the claim. They are not sorting out multiple positive tests on the same person - seems like an important thing to me when you are trying to count how many are sick. Until last week, the CDC was combining results from viral testing and antibody testing. A positive test result is not required to count as a "case". The whole system has been skewed into recording every possible event as a "case". You can't tell me that no one at the CDC or NIH knows how to take scientific data. This is not science, it's marketing.
