Yes easily. I have always taught my kids actions have consequences be it good or bad.

If you don’t turn him in, then you become an accessory after the fact and could face charges.

I honestly feel for his father and applaud him for doing something so difficult. Lots of reflection going on in that household.
This is where I'm at. I love my kids more than life itself and I would be devastated if I had to make this decision. I would try to talk him into turning himself in and beg for mercy on the court to save his life and if that didn't work I'd turn him in

It is better to turn the kid in than to wait for the police to hunt him down

Yes. If the little bastard did an Mlkj level assassination. I'd turn him in after whupping his arse.. and then apologize for not pulling out all those years ago.

This is the way

You either turn them in or go to jail with them. Any comms with them that assist in evading capture will be obstruction, at a minimum.

It would kill me and haunt me forever, but yes..As a parent I think all we can do is love our children, listen to them and try to give them a good moral compass.

It would be inevitable that they'd catch him, so it's either you lose a child or you lose a child and your own freedom by being in prison for a very long time for accessory to the fact, thereby making your family lose two loved ones instead of one. That'd be a terribly difficult decision to make, but yes I'd have to do it.

Yes because I’d want to protect him from me strangling him.

Yes. I'm inclined to say I would disown him.

I wonder if he knew his dad was going to turn him over and he went along with it

If that happened, I'd be begging for them to turn themselves in, and praying for their redemption. I would feel like a massive failure as a person and a parent if my child did something so evil.
The sad part of this is that, had someone killed another free speech advocate and Christian.....Charlie Kirk would be praying for their soul and for their family.
The most important thing for us all to do is raise our children to be good adults that understand the importance of faith and family as their guiding light, and not some unhealthy political fringe movement.
