That was the lead yesterday morning on X.

On Ingraham, Waltz protected Wong possibly because Trump asked Elon to look into it-so he knows it is on him, full stop.

So Waltz added Goldberg the Atlantic reporter to contacts and the chat. Or the CIA that set up their phones with the Signal App did remotely?

It could explain why the NSC and lawyers discussed new communications.

Anyone that thinks Waltz was the one to input each person that was to be in the chat is an absolute idiot. Some staffer has that assignment.

Investigate the hell out of this, including getting Goldberg's phone and records. Was he in on this to begin with, meaning planned? Was this a setup from the start?

My money is yes on both questions.

You can't. Which is why complaining every time something happens is counterproductive. We're in a war for our country and some want to spend all their time fighting their own side. All the conservative crybabies are just shooting themselves in the foot, but they can't control their own emotions enough to stop it.

How do you think WWII would have turned out if our soldiers acted like conservatives today and threw a tantrum every time something didn't go exactly how they wanted? Conservatives no longer have any fight in them. They just want others to do the heavy lifting and then whine when isn't done "the right way."

I've been wondering about this -- you come into one of these jobs and have all these people tell you what you can and can't do, where you're supposed to communicate, whatever. I guess you have to do as you're told, but it seems like everyone is basically controlled in that respect. I can actually see how someone like Hilldawg would want to do some things off the books. In this particular case, I wondered if this group wanted to communicate outside of NSA/CIA control using Signal. But, what we now know is it was authorized or even prepared for them. I don't know how you avoid all of the traps the deep state can set.
The CIA preset all top officials phones/apps. But at the committee that turned into an ambush yesterday (Another one today BTW) The democrats were ready and said that the NSA warned about Signal and the Trump admin was BAD ignoring it.

So it is indeed a trap that is hard to crawl out of.

If Waltz is telling the truth, then how can anyone be disiplined or fired? Waltz is saying the phone number of Goldberg was listed under someone elses name in the directory!!!

Thats the point of this post. Again, if Waltz is speaking truth, then SOMEONE fricked with the directory. THAT is what Musk is helping figure out, whos responsible.

According to Mike Waltz the name of a contact was mis-attributed to the telephone number of Jeffrey Goldberg.

It wouldn't matter who did it, they wouldn't have known any better. Goldbergs number was listed under another name in the directory.
When adding people to a group text, one chooses from names the directory.

Convenient truth vs reality

It often leads to bullshite (I will never use the term mis or dis information)

We just need to call it what it is and not use this dystopian language.

Hopefully Musk will get to the bottom of it either way and tell the American people.

I bookmarked this post just in case.

Eh, some pissed off staffer added the guy to the chat in an attempt to make the administration look bad... Same with removing Tuskegee Airmen in response to killing DEI, etc...

This is all totally bush-league much ado about nothing compared to the Isrealies.

Sending exploding pagers and walkie talkies to Hezbollar leadership with instructions to hold with both hands close to your head is world class.

When Waltz added Goldberg was Goldberg Listed as his initials "JG" or his full name?

How did Goldberg know that groups existence? It looks like an already named group. It is very strange.

As far as folks comparing it to everyday texting. Of course we all check who is in the group.

In this setting you trust your aides and staff and presume the people in the chat are all good to go at this level.

The sad thing is there is a very important DOGE hearing with NPR and AP on the hotseat that no one will watch. But the grilling from democrats committee is also on again today.

The urgent issues like China buying USA land carte blanche' is ignored over the dems questioning them like they committed treason.

Goldberg was added as a contact on signal first, which isn't strange as a number of officials noted that Goldberg was in their contacts. Days later he was added to the PC Houthi Group. What no one seems to understand is that signal nor cell phones are authorized for sharing what was at minimum secret information that was shared. The discussions had should have been conducted in a SCIF where cell phones are not allowed. One member of the signal text group was texting from Moscow. This was a monumental violation of law and protocol.

Imagine being a cuck who defended Jeff Goldberg and the CIA after everything we've seen them do to disrupt Trump and MAGA these last 8 years

Absolutely, Goldberg should receive a visit from the FBI, have his residence searched, phones seized, etc. The full colonoscopy.

If Goldberg is not questioned they will just pick another CIA hack reporter for another sting. WHY IS NO ONE QUESTIONING GOLDBERG LEAKING?

Fox News daytime helped by calling it Signal Gate. So i smell the uniparty.

Interesting, Kennedy on the 5 thinks Waltz is friends with Goldberg, sources him,--and did it to get Pete, JD, and others, because he wants to run for POTUS and or he is a neocon-or both.
