I saw Booker on an Ellen show bout a week ago. I was blown away with how suave, smooth and confident he seemed. He's truly amazing and has evolved tremendously since his "Spartacus" gaffe.
With Corey Booker you have Obama, but with far more aplomb and no awkward, contrived aspects whatsoever. Really presidential.

Remember 1992?? I do - GHWBush was so formidable that no DEM with any credibility wanted to even bother with working for the nomination. That is why a shyster with a gift of gab like William Jefferson Clinton rose to the top.
And how did he get elected?? There was a hiccup in the economy at 'just' the right time - allowed the DEMs to drone on and on about the "worst economy in 50 years" somehow skipping over the disastrous Carter years of just a decade earlier. The economy recovered fully during the campaign but was not reported until after the election - and then Clinton claimed that HE has caused the upsurge in the economy because everyone just "knew" he would fix it.
Utter bullshite - and we can look forward to the FED obliging and engineering a slowdown just in time to resurrect this old "worst economy in 50 years' meme for 2020.
I am not al all encouraged by the fact that all DEMOCRAT candidates are stupid stooges - I have seen this movie before.
I'd rather have a genuine patriotic Democrat (an impossible fiction in today's world) running than one of these bat-shite crazy identity driven zealots.
Unfortunately I do not know of ONE patriotic Democrat. not one.

When asked about slave reparations,!he told the crowd everyone at birth (depending on their income level) will automatically get $2000 put into a bond and when they reach 18, they will have $50000 to put down on a house or pay for college. The crowd went nuts, of course not realizing that would be one hell of a fictional return for a bond!!

From a policy perspective, Booker is no better or worse than the rest. Gabbard may be a little better than the rest - because of the way she was raised and her upbringing she may be have enough memory not to push the country into the abyss.
Booker is there to drawback votes away from Harris to clear the road for Beto.
The dems are here really counting on flipping Texas in 2020.

Ummm... I'd be more worried if he bumbled his way through prefed questions.
Sort of like a MLB batter striking out if the pitcher is 40 feet away tossing him softballs underhanded. You can't judge him as "great" if he hits them out of the park, how could he not?

Not to sound racist here, but are there any blacks on earth that have it better than blacks in the USA? Cardi B was a stripper that's bragging about drugging Johns and stealing their money -nothing will happen to her. Jussie just committed 17 felonies and got off Scott free. They can get into exclusive universities with average GPAs and SATs. Govt jobs/contracts are there for the taking. What else can we do for these people?
