I love flock cameras. I think they should put them everywhere so we can catch more criminals who commit crimes and injure innocent people.

Should we enforce ankle monitors on everyone?
What about wearable technology so the government can determine who gets quarantined in the next pandemic? Feel fine but haven't been cleared by the DMV? Stay at home. Also, new technology will disable your vehicle and ban your retinal scan to prevent you from driving.

Every city and or county has differing procedures for how they handle high threat suspects.
It's most likely that they didn't spend time explaining anything to her, until she was secured in a vehicle.
And from personal experience, she probably had to wait for a senior officer to arrive to explain it.

You missed the point of the article.
The article pointed out a flaw in the system. A broken link.
The human factor.
This was police negligence. Some clerk(s) put somebody in danger by not updating records with Flock.
Edit: Possible that it might even be a problem with the way that they send the updates TO Flock. I dunno haven't been made privy to how that works.

A friend of mine had one of his cars stolen. After recovery, a week later he got pulled over, cops in high risk mode.
Happened again 3 days later.
Both times, car was not removed from the list. He literally had to go down to the police station and watch the clerks remove his car from the list.
Another friend of .mine got arrested and sent back to Arkansas for missing a court date, and getting Warranted. Because a clerk didn't file that he'd made a video call hearing with the judge.
Clerks either get negligent in their jobs, or are overworked and let stuff slip through the cracks. This is a part of why defunding police is a shite idea.

If your loved one was shot and killed accidentally by LEO over a bogus flock camera claim, would you want law enforcement to have this tool at their disposal?

Seems like Flock is doing a great job of getting low iq and crooked police officers fired. Shouldn’t that be what we want? The ‘bad apples’ removed from the equation?

Twice - once In Eutaw, AL and once in Starkville, MS - I was notified a warrant had been issued for my arrest because I had failed to appear in court for a traffic ticket. The problem is I didn’t have a court date, I had simply paid the ticket before the court date listed. Both times a clerk had not changed it in their system to show the citation had been paid. I was able to provide bank records that showed payment had been made and the warrants went away. But if I had not been made aware of it, the next time I got pulled over I would have been hauled off to jail because someone had not done their job. I have gotten five traffic tickets in the past 30 years. I simply paid them all. And yet twice I had a warrant issued for fairly to appear in court.
If they have so much trouble with simple traffic tickets, I am sure they will do great with a more advanced, complex system.

I'll answer your question with a question:
If your loved one was shot by law enforcement after being falsely flagged by flock as someone wanted, because he/she asked "what are you doing" to the officer when stopped thus was labeled as non cooperative and resisting.
Would you still support flock cameras?
The way its being reported that this stop went down, it wasn't too far from going in this direction.
