You're a major part of the problem in this state and across the nation. republicans bending the knee to liberals because they are "ok" is the reason we are where we are. His economic policies have trashed the state. We are at a net loss in jobs in the hottest economy in our life times. Our kids are leaving the state in droves to find jobs.'
When the Governor of Texas thanks Louisiana's policies as a part of their success....what more evidence do you need that he is the issue?
He has let loose his trail attorney cronies to sue as many Oil and Gas and industry companies as they can find and now they have no interest. I have heard it specifically from some higher ups in O&G companies who say they have no interest in investment in the state until they sort out the legal hell hole that it has become.
But you go ahead and kiss the ring and say he's "ok"...you're no republican and you should just change your party affiliation now.

He may be the dumbest poster on this board. Now that is an accomplishment.

You are right. I am going to change my affiliation to Independent which is what I really am. By the way, I was one of those old school Democrats or should I say Dixiecrats who did not change my party affiliation due to inertia. Mitch Landrieu's monument performance led me to register as a Republican. The fact is that there is no party for the vast majority of Americans. By the way, I own guns, I hunt and fish, I want the immigration laws enforced , etc. By the way, do some research and see who was responsible for the McKinney-Vento garbage that opened the floodgates to illegal immigration.

New Orleans, Laffeyette etc are sanctuary cities. What good is it to be against it but don’t correct the problem?

The expansion of Medicaid helped keep the future of training medical professionals in this state. Medicaid pays much of residents salaries. Without that, more doctors would be leaving this state.

Rispone at worst would have been Mike Foster, who, despite being totally boring, has ended up being the best LA Governor over the last 30 years.

Congrats on being one of the many low information voters in this state.

Congratulations on escaping tribalism

I voted for Foster. I must admit that he did nothing.

Does he pay you by the word? This is pathetic.

am a registered Republican who voted for JBE. This man is not a radical liberal and has done a good job as governor. This man is a West Point graduate (famous for radical liberals, right?), and that speaks volumes to me.

This is a troll, right?
Either that or your parents dropped you on your head ... multiple times.

Impossible.
I once heard someone say about JBE. "This man is a West Point Graduate."

And his nothing was better than any other governor's attempt to do "something." Including JBE.

Under Foster the so called sportsman governor is when the laws changed on public vs private tidal waters. He hurt sportsman over helping sportsman.
Let’s see Edwards fought and won making the temp state sales tax permanent. He held his ground on fighting to keep the sales tax from expiring. A fake republican Paula Davis, a state representative from Baton Rouge caved in with the other female representatives backing her to make the tax permanent.
He also said if the tax was not made permanent LSU football could be in jeopardy.
Thanks to state representative Paula Davis and John Bell Edwards we now pay a higher state sales tax.
What have we received in exchange for paying more taxes?
Better roads
Better education system
Streamline state government
Come on still waiting.
By the way didn’t John Bell Edwards vote for Bobby Jindal’s state budgets while he was a state representative?
