How will police arrest criminals carrying firearms now that it’s legal to carry firearms?

Cant carry a firearm with previous felonies. Pretty easy.

Don’t follow laws.

They carry now and will still continue to carry.

This is specifically for the law abiding citizen.

They won't be able to. It's going to be the wild west out there.

I suggest not only hiding your wife and kids, but yourself. It's not safe out there.

By doing actual police work?

This proactive policing has turned to a shite show.

Bruen decision says you can. Prosecutors are selectively looking at felon carries now. Unless the felon is considered dangerous, they pass.

Heck, if a person is dangerous, why is the person out of jail?

I’m sure they legally bought them, right?

Is it truly a right if you can lose it?

Not sure if you’re correct but let’s assume you are.
what if you have no prior felonies but involved in criminal acts but just haven’t been caught yet?

Maybe, maybe not. I have several guns that I didn’t buy. They were given to me or I traded for them

Correct but under the old law, police could pat them down if they suspected them to be carrying. Last year, there were over 2,400 guns confiscated from people illegally carrying concealed just in New Orleans

Exactly. I don't get why people think they are following existing laws

The point is that you're guns were legally acquired whether bought, gifted, or traded. The overwhelming majority of criminals acquire theirs illegally, either stealing them themselves or purchasing a stolen gun for $50 or $100.

What are they doing about it today? It’s not legal yet. Only been passed by the Senate.

27 states don't require concealed carry permits now. Missouri, if that's where you're from, is one of them. I haven't heard of any of them turning into the Wild West. I didn't notice any increase in violence or crime in my state when it passed constitutional carry.

Let's make some predictions. I predict that constitutional carry will not lead to more gun crime/violence. How about the naysayers? Do you all go on record predicting that there will be a causal increase to gun violence/crime due to this law?

Today, they pat them down and if they find a gun- arrest and confiscate.
Likely felony and jailed. Another criminal off the street.

Post law change, pat down, find gun, no law broken. No jail
