There has always been a downside to switching and Dems probably believe they don’t need to take that downside.
They WANT to try and win with an unelectable candidate. It will test all of their manipulation efforts and will, in their mind, sharpen the saw.
Keep in mind that there is no real, honest criticism of Biden in the MSM. They aren’t scared of that at all.
