As been mentioned, how can he be guilty of insurrection when there is not even charges of this against him let alone a conviction of insurrection? Third world countries are now learning to be even more brazen

That's the goal of the indictments, to invoke the 14th Amendment and keep Trump from being able to run again. Trump doing time is just gravy to the left.

If some states want to take this route there is this little presumption of innocence thing they have to overcome. Currently these states have no standing. This is why Jack in the DC case wants the trial to proceed so quickly. If he can get a conviction in the DC trial then these states would have standing.
