Colorado DNA analyst sentenced to 10 years for deleting DNA results

Investigators identified 53 cases involving false or misleading lab reports that contained statements attributed to Woods. Of those, 41 did not result in criminal charges against a suspect, including 32 involving women and children who reported sexual assault.
Woods data manipulation in favor of suspected criminals impacted more than 1,000 cases and it's cost the state $7.6 million to retest evidence.

It's OK, people. She was tired of seeing young black men sent to prison and decided to do something about this injustice.
