My wife is a middle school teacher and her district is treating her the same way.
If unvaccinated and you get contact traces you have to take 10 days off work using your sick leave. If you don’t have enough leave you stay home without pay.
This is in a very red district.
Vaccinated teachers only quarantine if they test positive.
My question is does a teacher need to prove their vaccination or is it the honor system.

Let’s take a look at some stats
Over 339 million vaccine doses were given to 187.2 million people in the US as of July 19, 2021.
At the time from December 2020 to July 2021 6,206 people have died from the vaccine.
That equates to .0018% chance of death. Now let’s look at some other stats.
Car wreck 1 out of 107
Heart disease 1 out of 6 chance
Falling to death 1 out of 106
Choking on food 1 out of 2535
Drowning 1 out of 1128
Gun assault 1 out of 289.
I’ll let you all figure out the percentages. If you’re truly that much of a pussy and scared of something going wrong and you probably should just give up and never leave your house I don’t drive, don’t own or associate with people who have firearms, don’t swim, don’t eat, etc etc.
Billions of people have taken the vaccine worldwide 3.82 billion people have been vaccinated and some people have had adverse reactions and some people have died but that number is so small that worrying about it is not something that anyone should spend their time even thinking about because if you truly start to look at the numbers we all have a chance of dying doing stuff that we do every day and it’s a much higher chance then the vaccine could ever give you.
Stop letting politics get in the way,stop being afraid of everything, protect your fellow man and children that you espouse that you care so much about. God gave you the vaccine if you believe that stuff. It’s up to you to take it. If not , not many will feel sorry for you when your dying on a ventilator asking for prayers. Sad reality.

I love how everybody talks about FDA approval when everybody knows that the FDA is going to approve it and I can promise you that everyone on here will move the goalpost and say that it’s political and that FDA approval doesn’t mean anything etc. etc. I promise you that is exactly what will happen because we all know FDA approval doesn’t mean shite stuff gets pulled all the time and half the stuff out there that we put in our bodies is not FDA approved so I can’t wait for that to happen.

Honestly I’m scared that these people have children dude it’s truly frightening it’s like they don’t even use their brain or they’re in capable and I’m not trying to be mean but it’s really freaky like flat earth freaky. I think that because it’s like a bubble and an echo chamber of shorts that honestly these people don’t realize how insane it sound and if this forum was shown to other people I think they would realize how crazy some of these people are one guy was literally talking about how he would happily put a bullet in dogs head to save children like it’s really out there weird stuff.

You apparently missed the story this past week that this number is like 6 times higher, and that's with the "cooked" numbers (deaths more than 28 days from vaccination aren't counted as vaccine deaths).
