Cohen going to jail for something 3 other people did and they are still free.

They use this as Cohen plea deal for a guilty plea even though its not something for jail time to decrease his sentencing from 70 years to 3 and lay the ground work for that campaign violation to not just be a fine but a felony

Cohen's lawyer is Lanny Davis, and Cohen said Lanny was representing him for free.
Well Lanny let Cohen go before Congress and expose himself to more legal liability.

Exactly. They had him on more serious crimes and threatened years of prison. They gave him and out so that they could "implicate" Trump.

Actually, only 2 of the 8 charges he pleaded to are CF related. 6 are Tax Evasion and False Financials for a bank loan (bank fraud).
So, the CF ones are "throw in there" garbage to be able to say "See...we found CF violations". The OTHER charges amount to 65 of the 70 years max nonsense.
