Cohen plead guilty to this because they had even more dirt on him and his family. Otherwise, a competent attorney would have taken on this "illegal campaign contribution" count head on.
They know Trump will fight it and most likely win.
I am sure they will try though.
What a sad day for our country if that happens.

It's understandable that you folks are running from the Russia thing! And it's understandable that you have so much emotion invested yet you keep failing at every turn. So you keep hope alive over what is at worst an embarrassed guy paying pro's to shut up over sex he had what 10-15 years before he even thought seriously about running for president. You can't indict, you can't impeach and there is zero basis for either one in any case.
