I like the "new" CNN

CNN on Tuesday will air a special post-election retrospective by political commentator Van Jones titled "The Messy Truth."

The live, one-hour special from New York will include progressive filmmaker Michael Moore, former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum and Ana Navarro, an anti-Trump Republican strategist and CNN contributor.

Taped interviews Jones conducted with supporters of Trump in Ohio will also be featured.

Jones was in the spotlight recently following his post-election comments stating the outcome was a "whitelash against a changing country," and "a whitelash against a black president."

"This is where the pain comes," Jones added.

The "Messy Truth" will air at 9:00 pm ET on Tuesday.

Do they not review and analyze Nielsen data at all? Too good and/or arrogant for that?

It's amazing how 1 election has completely destroyed 100% of whatever credibility they had left.

This sounds horrible. I hope Van Jones can give some firm examples of how he has been oppressed in his silver spoon life.

I listened to some of conversation with Trump (former Obama) Rust Belt voters...and the bottom line is that Jones comprehends the trouble Progressive hegemony will encounter with it's Globalist/Open Border Policy. The 'sleeping lion' - aka Redneck America - has awakened to the real agenda of the Dem Party, and the Dems are going to play hell fooling them again. Kinda like supporting the BLM/Thug movement against Trump's 'rule of law' narrative...and the Black homicide facts. Not an easy task.

This is so true. I used to like CNN and thought they were a little center left, but generally did a good job. This election cycle has turned them into MSNBC. It's sad that we have so few domestic news sources.

You think with this panel they will find that?

I'd like to dig and find Anderson Cooper's rotting corpse.

The fact they are even letting Ana Navarro back on the air after some of her antics this year says all you really need to know.

In the promo for the special, Jones asks, "when will the healing begin?"

Healing from what??? The yeast infection in his vagina?

I've said this before, but it bears repeating:

Do these companies not care about ratings or profits?

CNN and MSNBC have ratings that are below even the crappiest cable channels that show 80s sitcom reruns.

I understand in their warped minds they think they are doing good work, but I assume there are adults somewhere that have to answer to a bottom-line. Right?

That will look like the ending of a bukake film.
