Vivek is a far superior pick to Vance. I read his book and thought it was pretty good, but he is not as sharp an intellect as Vivek. With that being said, pick is done, now time to win in Nov.

I think JD Vance is the best pick out of the people who were being mentioned. (We are losing one of the few good Senators, which does hurt a little)
I also think this is never the way. People should always be able to voice their opinions and other people shouldn't get their feelings hurt when those opinions don't match their own.

Vance already did a full interview with the NYT like a month ago on the topic. He can answer the question.
And why is anyone worried about that anyway? Are you actually concerned that independents won’t vote for Trump because his VP candidate said negative things 8 years ago?
