the right has adopted the ridiculous “freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences” mantra the left used.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. The left follows Rules for Radicals. They want to use the right's rules against themselves. "oh, I can tattle on you but you can't tattle on me."

Level the playing field. Treat them as they have treated us. Hold them accountable to their own standards.

To which it’s a race to the bottom, the country is far worse for it, and whenever they do it again nobody can claim any sort of moral high road as defense. Maybe I’m weird but I’d rather nobody be indulging in this revenge e-mob toxicity rather than everyone doing it.

That's like wishing nobody had guns.
But they do have guns and criminals will always have guns. So law abiding citizens must have the right to protect themselves.

You’re not weird, it would be fantastic if no one was doing it. The left unfortunately has been emboldened by our tolerance.

No more. Until they’re ready to live in civilized society again it will very likely be sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.

So would I.

But Wednesday changed my mind. Now I see that as unilateral disarmament.

I pretty much unfriend/unfollow anyone who posts anything other than pics of kids, pets or plants.

Social media is a scourge on humanity.

Outing and cancelling someone for disagreeing with the point of view of one side is really different from outing someone celebrating the murder of a person who shared the beliefs of one side. One is revenge from wrongthink. The other is removing people who support or even advocate murder. They aren’t the same thing.

Notice people aren’t going after people saying they disagreed with CK. If someone said they thought CK was an idiot, but condemned the murder, I’d judge that person as an a-hole free to their opinion.

I’d fully support a left wing movement to cancel a person celebrating the murder of a black, gay, or generally liberal personality. It is despicable from either side. That’s not really “cancel culture,” nor are the repercussions from the CK messages. It is society functioning as it should to cull bad actors.

There have been social media messages mocking the Charlotte subway victim. Those people need to be called out too.

The majority of people on the right knew long ago, that it's a really bad idea to post stupid shite on social media, especially when your profile links you to your employer.

The Left has been aware of this too, because they've weaponized it against the Right in recent times. But it seems they never thought that it would be reciprocal.

I'm glad to see them dropping like dominoes. Keep the pressure on, and stay pissed.

What good did that do Charlie Kirk?

Caring about the "moral high ground" implies I give one iota about anything they believe.
