There’s really only one way to obtain a lasting resolution. A full scale invasion and war to take over the country. And even then we would have to deal with a population that would continue to resist and fight much like the Taliban. I wouldn’t want us to take that step.
There’s no easy way to achieve the goal. This war has achieved nothing of lasting effect, other than an even more radical regime…
