Is this actually a headline somewhere? I have been unable to find it.

Apologies if it was meant as a joke, but no one posting in the thread is treating it like a joke.

A lot of posters on this thread were around for the MS Senate primary where Thad Cochran made it back in by paying black voters to turn out for him.

The establishment will pander to whoever they can in order to hold on.

You believe that only a select few should get to choose who runs.
Anyone can "run."

Do I believe that the active members of a political party should have a greater voice in selecting the candidate(s) for their party, as compared to some yahoo who (sometimes) shows up to vote in the primary every few years?

Yep. They are the ones with skin in the game. If a candidate wants to be the face of a political party, he should appeal to the active members of that party.

Others can always run Independent.

Seems like this was something they discussed on air, so I doubt there's an article about it.

Cheney is a household Wyoming name. That will pull some moderate GOP votes plus D votes plus any frickery by the establishment

She likely wins by 2-3 points in a “stunning” upset

There are only 36,000 registered Dems in Wyoming. There are 215,000 Reps.

She does not have the numbers.

Since when does that stop democrats/the beltway?

The National Republican Senatorial Committee led by McConnell at the time gave cash to local pastors at black churches to get out the vote for Thad.

It worked.

Yep! Real America's Voice reporter Ben Berquam was on location this morning at a voting location in Cheyenne and he talked to quite a few American Marxists/Groomers who were giddy over voting for Cheney.....never forget the Groomer mission statement....

WHATEVER IT TAKES........BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!!!
