Not on the Rush Limbaugh level, obviously, but this is a pretty entertaining show. They do a good job.

Anyone finding themselves having to follow up Rush was at a disadvantage and that’s putting it very lightly. They weren’t able to keep me as a listener but to be honest no one would’ve. There was/is no replacing Rush.

I listen now and then but definitely don’t go out of my way to catch it like I did Rush.

Yep, it will be awhile before there's another Rush. He liked to say he knew the democrats so well that he knew what they were going to do before they knew. I wouldn't put it past them to listen to Rush before they decided what their talking points were going to be.
I've thought Mike Rowe would do well in Paul Harvey's role, but that genre seems to have left the building with Paul.

No one is ever gonna claim themselves as a "Clay and Buck" baby. Just not the same.

If we could replace the soys with men like Mike the country would be in a much better place.

if Michael Berry took that time slot, id listen every day

They're great. The only haters havent given them much of a chance at all. They're solid thru and thru, despite Clay's college football handicap of being a Vomiteer.

Did anyone hear the clip they played earlier of the tranny who visited Joe in the White House.
He was saying the kids were staring at his privates and he realized, they are staring because my crotch has a hump and not a crevice and how he’d have to explain it to them.
Buck said,” that’s easy, just say you have a penis!”

I love his show except for Friday’s. I prefer the politics and current events format to the Friday show.

True dat - I hear ads for a book about him that plays some excerpts from his shows - it makes me stop and consider the marvel that he was - good natured - unshakeable - pure political analysis I've ever heard - nothing about him to 'hate' (but they did)
I'll never forget the first time I heard his voice - was captured immediately with the thought = "he is saying just what I've been wanting to say - but so much better!!!"

I drove through Cape Girardeau a few weeks ago, and part of me expected to see a statue of him in town.

I listen to Michale Berry every time I am in the car jn the morning - sometimes make it happen.
He was my first choice to replace Rush too - but he'd have to stop some of the interminable music he plays - wastes way too much time just playing some song he likes.
IF I had it on during the day while I was doing other stuff, the songs may not be so intrusive - but in my normal run-to-the-store commutes, luck dictates that most of what I hear are advertisements and his lead-in music.
But he does have the verbal talent to play on the same field with Rush - but continuous stamina ?? dunno.

Clay is a 2x Obama voter and Buck is ex-CIA. They're both actors, IMO.

I heard that clip and laughed.

I hate when he plays an entire song

Didn’t Clay support Obama?

IIRC he is a vandy grad. He's no different than finebaum and his love for bama
On a side note...Beck interviewed Rush's wife today. He started the segment with his pumper and a quick intro by Rush, it was good to hear like we all had for so many years during the work day.
