Doesn’t have a pot to pee in but are going to spend 300 mil on a new city hall.How much did the construction company contribute to Moreno and the city council.The city is 100 mill in the hole WTF is this.

I bet FEMA money will fund this. FEMA granted a bunch of extensions to spend Katrina money yesterday.

Yes. Everything takes forever here.
My water meter was leaking last month. I reported it right away. Came home from work to a Sewerage and Water Board truck parked outside my house. Was very encouraged! Still took them 4 weeks to fix the leak. FOUR WEEKS.
I had a proper river flowing from my water meter to the storm drain at the end of the block for a whole month.

Luckily I dont live in NOLA. I called in the morning and a good ole baw had it fixed by 3pm

The city of new orleans population has decreased from 550K to 357K since the 70s.
The northshore has a population of over 400K...........they dont have a 300 million dollar city hall.

The current City Hall and Civil District Court buildings are an embarrassment to the city. They really do need to be replaced. They are probably more delapadated than any other governmental complex in the State of Louisiana with the exception of Plaqumines Parish whose courthouse burned down 40 years ago and has never been rebuilt.
I have been to City Halls and courthouses all over the country and all over the world. Many of them look like palaces. Ours looks like a dump.

Glad you cleared that up its "other peoples money" not people from New Orleans.
And the reason why its still there is because they have fed overseers and the corrupt motherfckers couldnt figure out a way to steal it without getting caught.
So rather than spend it on something to actually help the people of the city they said, if we cant steal it, let the money sit and the people rot.
